If you recall the very first post on this Blog then you must know it is dedicated to Bess and Jared's Peace Corps experience in Mali, West Africa. It has been a tremendous two years and this blog has only succeeded in conveying a fraction of all our journey embodied... I am happy to say that Bess and I are once again living in the United States. We both miss our friends and family in Mali and intend to return as well as continuing ways to serve our neighbors abroad.

I truly believe that we have reached the point where technology has become one with our world, and I am fairly confident when I say that we have passed the point of no return in our relationship with technology.
I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as technology further innovates, the possibility of transferring our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's one of the things I really wish I could experience in my lifetime.
